Democrat — Republican?
Pro-choice — Pro-life?
Tastes Great — Less Filling?
Fold — Roll?
These are the big debates we each face in life and for any serious traveler, that last one is a hotly contested issue. All my life I’ve been a folder and pride myself on being a great packer who rarely checks luggage.
The kids and Audrey will roll their clothes. I will fold. But at some point, I will (o.k., may) try rolling.
We have recently converted to using packing cubes and find them an excellent strategy to organize our clothes. This is handy when you are moving as much as we will. The advantage to rolling, as you can see on the right of this picture, is that clothes are easy to see. However, folding, in my experience, takes up less space. And space is a sought-after commodity in our carry-on-sized packs.
As we progress on this journey, I will report back. Your thoughts?
